This week we had to find a protagonist that links to our site and area where we were assigned, so I had to create a research page for each one and create an annotated photo survey.

My first Protagonist drawings were based on my first interest and possible noise pollution.

From pollution reverting to nature, to ghostly echoes of the past lingering in an old factory, the resolute bandit attempting to flee on a unicycle, and the revitalized yacht club garden signifying the flow of history.

The idea had to go through a rework as the area covered on the previous walk had not gone to our area so i had to change all the protagonist.

Whist adventuring the new location it was profound by the amount of noise caused by passing planes going to London City Airport. This I was intrigued by planes thinking this would be the best option for a protagonist for my project thrilled with clarity and direction on what to do next.

But the character didn't have enough information

I went to the site again for a more detailed visit along the way I was looking a part of the Thames that was significant.

People, planes, boats and public travel are all contribution of noise pollution as its everywhere.

Research page on noise pollution for the Group work, I was examining noise pollution caused by aircraft, highlighting its effects on urban and natural environments, and its implications for public health and quality of life.

Then waking along the Thames Path I had stumbled across small family bats acting very strange by swopping by my face and anything that had a red light nearby.

It was along here that I had stumble across them

Bats (Chiroptera) became my main protagonist

Photo Survey

A visual guide exploring the potential habitat for bats along the Thames, highlighting diverse environments from wooded areas to urban paths, with a focus on fostering both wildlife and human interactions in the area.
