The scenes were first sketched out as this was the outcome I wanted from different abstract scenes, serving as a foundational step in the creative process. Each sketch was meticulously crafted to capture the essence of the ideas swirling in my mind, translating abstract concepts into visual representations. I aimed to explore a variety of themes and emotions, allowing the fluidity of abstraction to guide my hand.

As I engaged in this initial phase, I found myself experimenting with colours, shapes, and forms that would evoke specific feelings and thoughts. The sketches were not merely rudimentary outlines; they were an exploration of contrasts, harmonies, and tensions that exist within the realm of abstraction. I wanted to challenge viewers' perceptions and encourage them to delve deeper into the meaning behind each scene.

In this process, I contemplated what I would want people to see and understand. It was essential for me to convey a narrative or a sense of mood that could resonate with the audience. Each line drawn and each colour chosen was a deliberate decision aimed at fostering a connection between the artwork and its viewers. I considered how different elements within the scenes would interact with one another, creating a dynamic interplay that could provoke thought and evoke emotion.

Furthermore, I reflected on the broader implications of abstraction in art. It allows for a subjective interpretation, inviting viewers to project their own experiences and feelings onto the work. This aspect was crucial for me, as I wanted to create a space where individuals could engage with the artwork on a personal level, finding their own meanings within the abstract forms.

Ultimately, the sketches served as a blueprint for what I envisioned, a stepping stone toward developing fully realized pieces that would encapsulate the depth and complexity of my ideas. This iterative process of sketching and refining was vital in shaping the final outcome, ensuring that each scene was not only visually compelling but also rich with layers of meaning waiting to be uncovered by those who would experience it.
